Mud Wrestling on Roatan - Part 2

Sometimes when you're Mud Wrestling on Roatan you win, sometimes the mud wins. Our car was held in the grip of wet, gooey, slimy Roatan mud for one week. There was just enough rain to keep us from getting the truck out by ourselves, so we had to call in the professionals. Join us for the adventure.

  1. Well, that was fun!! Enjoyed the Star Wars beginning. Danny asked, "where did that music come from, 1972?" :-) Just have to tease you since you all and us all are now old. Older. :-) Can't imagine having our car stuck for a whole week! How inconvenient!! Hope the backhoe didn't cost too much. Believe it or not, your road looks a lot like my Dad's road to the "back forty." He has about that much trouble getting stuck too. His jungle is as deep but the foliage looks a little more Iowan. Surprise there! :-) Your videos are excellent. Merry Christmas!! Glad Sadie is back!!!

  2. Hey Peter, Yeah that slick tropical mud! In Ecuador we had a 1969 Toyota Landcruiser, and had enough adventures with it that we put on "llantas pantaneras" (swamp tires) with big knobbies. Actually found that going down a steep slope was far more nerve-wracking than climbing. But what a mule of a vehicle it was, pulling out dump trucks, hauling cement and boards and people, and carrying the Gospel to needy valleys and hamlets.

    Enjoyed your movie, sans popcorn.

God's best as you cling to Jesus in 2012.
